BOARD REPORTS

EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR
Dear CASLI members and Deaf Community, Welcome to the CASLI AGM 2021! There have been so many changes since the spring of 2020 because of COVID 19. Governments, organizations, and associations including CASLI have faced challenges that have put us in difficult positions

PRESIDENT
As I begin my report, I offer my respect to the Hun’qumi’nm speaking people who have been stewards of the land where my home is since time immemorial.

VICE PRESIDENT
As I submit this report I would like to acknowledge that it was written while on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk), a place that has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst nations.

2ND VICE PRESIDENT
Within these past 8 months while serving on the CASLI board, we have accomplished a few things and have come to tackle on a bigger issue that lays within our organization. Before I proceed with my report/updates,

TREASURER
Hello everyone, It has been a very quick year as my time as treasurer. I have worked with the Board and the Executive Director on some small projects that needed to be done. We met to review the direction of the Board and priorities

EVALUATIONS
Thanks for your patience as we update this section.

FIRST DIRECTOR
Before I sat to write this, I reviewed meeting minutes and notes from the series of townhall meetings and one-on-one conversations with CASLI and stakeholders. It validated my optimism about the vision and future of CASLI that members from east to west seem to share. Further, it has been an exciting time to be on the board.
